I’m fighting to bring all my neighbors with me to city hall.
We need an alderman right now who will take action to preserve and expand on what makes us special. We need our ward office to be a vehicle for all residents and communities of this ward to have ownership over development, inclusion, and everyday governance. I am fighting to bring all of my neighbors with me to city hall.
In a wealthy city in the wealthiest country on Earth, our infrastructure and our people should be cared for. We can and we will have a transparent ward office that involves residents at every turn—including our Black, Asian, and Latino neighbors, our neighbors who are immigrants, and all those who have been totally left out of the decisions that impact them. I’m a democratic socialist, and to me, what that means is expanding democracy so that everyone has a role in making important decisions that affect our lives.
